The Bible

We use the Authorised Version of the Bible in our services. First published in 1611, it is a faithful translation of the Holy Scriptures which has stood the test of time. We recommend this version for private reading, family worship and public worship.

The minister has written a booklet on the subject of Bible versions which was published by the Trinitarian Bible Society in 2007. Entitled Which Bible Version: Does it Really Matter?, the booklet explains some of the problems of modern versions of the Bible as compared to the Authorised Version. It may be read online here.
